The Palmerston Tavern - "Enjoy the Experience"
Situated opposite the entrance to the Palmerston Shopping Centre, the recently re-developed and re-furbished Palmerston Tavern now offers the people of Palmerston and surrounds a truly modern Hotel with a friendly atmosphere, where families and friends can come together and enjoy delicious meals, cold beer and fast friendly service from our dedicated and well trained staff.
The 1110 Bistro has recently received a well deserved facelift encompassing the transformation of the defunct DJ booth into a vibrant "kids area" and the installation of a new non-smoking alfresco deck facing out to Chung Wah Terrace where a meal or a drink can be enjoyed in utter comfort. At the same time we have segregated our gaming machines from the Bistro so as not to diminish the "family friendly" feel.
A number of wide screen televisions have been installed around the deck area and inside carrying all different sporting events for patrons' viewing pleasure enhanced by the latest music video clips to add to the relaxed atmosphere.
The creation of the new "Kids Zone" combined with bhg Hotels "Kids eat FREE" offer from a dedicated Kids menu has increased our popularity for families. The area is highlighted by 16 square metres of soft carpet and cushions for Kids to play on plus a TV playing Kids DVD's and 2 Playstations offering a variety of games. Colouring books and pencils, chalk board and user friendly toys top off the options to keep the little ones occupied!
Adding to our already extensive A la Carte menu we have added a unique selection of items that we call "Pub Gastronomique" that offer pub style dishes with a twist for those with a more discerning palate. There is a selection of 10 lunch dishes for $9.90 and a reward program for our regular customers (6th meal free).
The popularity of our "7 theme nights" continues to grow and with the inclusions of Monday Curry Night and multiple Steak & Schnitzel Nights which when combined with “Kids eat FREE” allows families to enjoy a great night at an affordable price.
Regular 6 weekly rotating "Beer of the Month" and "Wine of the Month" promotions plus the inception of a "Premium Wine list" sourced from our extensive bottle shop enhance the diner's choice of a wide and varied array of beverage options.
Relax on the deck or prop on a stool in the TAB as the Palm Bar is now a public facility for all the community in its true sense. The open deck area featuring high ventilated ceilings, a water fountain and a cool and relaxing outdoor area for all the family to enjoy. Jarrah floors, ceiling-high glass windows and new seating, including arm chairs and couches, bring a light and inviting lounge look to the bar.

In the evening the Palm Bar kicks off with happy hours at 4pm from Monday through to Friday and now has later opening hours.
Most of the Bistro's well-known dinner and lunch specials can now be enjoyed al fresco style in the Palm Bar. Coffees, cakes and a new snack menu are now available for extended dining options.

The Palm Bar
Opening at 10.00am every day the Palmerston Palm Bar offers patrons a relaxed air conditioned Bar to share a drink with friends or make some new ones.
Watch all the sport from all over the world on the big screens. Back a winner on the TAB or try your luck on the KENO.
Enjoy a meal or just cool
off in the Shaded Beer Garden. Meals are served in the Bar from 11.30am until 9pm 7 days a week.
